FLY TO SÃO PAULO
Flying from the United States to São Paulo takes approximately 14 hours. We recommend flying during the day on Tuesday or taking the red-eye flight Monday evening. This gives you Tuesday to rest, recover, and shake off any jet lag.
The main airport in São Paulo is Guarulhos International Airport (GRU).
We’ll be arriving in São Paulo on May 17th—if you’re planning to arrive earlier than Tuesday, let us know! Shoot us a text, and we’ll coordinate.

We both use the Delta SkyMiles Reserve Card and usually fly Delta since we can check three bags for free (a lifesaver!).
Fun Fact 1: LATAM partners with Delta, so if you’re a Delta member, you can book your LATAM flight through Delta.
Fun Fact 2: Flying out of LAX? There are three nonstop flights a week on Delta/LATAM. If you’re having trouble finding a flight, let us know—we’re happy to help!
FLY TO ITACARé
The closest airport to Itacaré is Ilhéus Jorge Amado Airport (IOS).
The easiest and cheapest way to fly from São Paulo to Itacaré on Thursday May 22nd is the nonstop flight from GRU to IOS at 3:50pm on GOL Airlines.
There are also return flights from IOS to GRU on Sunday and Monday on the same airline.

Where to Stay in ITACARÉ
We’ll be staying at Fazenda Prainha, a coconut farm right on the beach, about 10 minutes from town. This is where the ceremony and all the weekend festivities will take place, so you’ll want to be close!
Itacaré is full of charming and affordable Airbnb options! If you’re interested in teaming up with other guests to rent a big house, send us a message—we’d love to help coordinate.
There is a gated community of airbnbs options that are close walking distance to Fazenda Prainha called Villas de São José.
